Machine learning has been a buzzword for several years, a time during which we've witnessed numerous experimental tools come and go.

Black Med is a project embarked upon in 2018, drawing on an archive of music and sound objects from the protean area of the Mediterranean, in constant evolution, and its main medium is the platform [blackmed.invernomuto.info](http://blackmed.invernomuto.info/).

The artificial intelligence in the project handles both the selection and mixing of each track. This enables the seamless streaming of music from the ever-expanding archive of tracks provided by Invernomuto's external contributors.

We are very fond of this project that we developed in collaboration with Luca Mucci, Fotis Kutsukos and Lorenzo Rivosecchi.
